Shark's Ocean: Our Whimsical Halloween experience at the Goldilocks Cake City

Every October, apart from our traditional Halloween set up here at home, we also make sure to set up our Christmas tree. This comes from a belief that more graces and blessings will pour if we had it set up just before the Halloween. But aside from these, we also look forward to Halloween parties. Though me and my wife don’t dress for the occasion, we make sure the kids does.

This year, we were lucky enough to be invited to the newly opened Goldilocks Cake City in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong City.

The Goldilocks Cake City can comfortably seat a party of fifty – with enough space left over for games, decorations, and installations. Since we are not too familiar with the area, we opted to arrive early. We were stunned when we saw the place… it was perfect! Perfect for our baby boy’s first birthday celebration next year! Oh and that reminds me…we have to make our reservation soon!

The location was ideal, with its fanciful décor, and ready access to delightful Goldilocks treats, the Goldilocks Cake City will surely make waves as the event venue of choice.

Shark’s Ocean was among the selected bloggers who experienced the Goldilocks Cake City firsthand. With me are my kids (Shanelle, Steph and Shark) and my beautiful wife..Maj. Of course we are not in costume as expected but we have with us our princess in her olive green gown. It was a “hallo-wonderful” Halloween party! Kids enjoyed the games so much and the food served was fantastic! Pork Barbeque, Beef Caldereta, or course Dinuguan and puto to name a few!

Our little boy also got the change to take home a lot of Goldilocks goodies! His pumpkin basket was filled with cookies, popcorn and the like. Not to mention that this was his first trick or treat party!

Even before the party stared, each of the bloggers we were given a DYC cake. Special awards were likewise given to the best costumes (individual and pair), and the most creative DYC creations.
